How to Connect Computer or Smartphone to Printer Directly Via Wireless LAN

    The Printer Device has the function of being able to connect a computer or smartphone to the printer directly via wireless LAN, or a network share from a smartphone that allows you to perform operations for printing documents or photos. please Follow below procedure to use this function.

1. Change printer settings

    - Make sure the Power is ON as shown below

2. Please press and hold the Wi-Fi button and release it when the Power Lamp flashes 3 times.

Steps to Connect Device to Printer

as for important information before connecting the computer to the printer and before starting to print with the following method, make sure to finish the setup for wireless LAN (from wireless router) using the Setup CD-ROM or from our website (canon.com/ijsetup).

1. Please turn on wireless internet network communication  on your computer or smartphone. For Android or iOS, enable "Wi-Fi" in your device's "Settings" menu.

2. Select "XXXXXX-iP110series" ("XXXXXX" represents the last six digits of the machine's MAC address) from the SSID (Service Set Identifier) ​​list displayed on the device.

3. Enter the password in the network settings.

The printer's serial number has been specified as the default password. It is printed on a sticker attached to the back of the printer and consists of 9 alphanumeric characters (four letters followed by five numbers).
